- The 2025/26 season underscores the strength and growing social and audiovisual reach of Liga F Moeve, reflected in increased viewership and digital engagement, as well as greater presence in major stadiums
The new season follows through on the global agreement between Moeve, Liga F, and LALIGA. The partnership made Moeve the first company to sponsor all LALIGA and Liga F competitions: Liga F Moeve, Liga Futura Moeve, LALIGA EA SPORTS, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, LALIGA GENUINE Moeve, and the FC FUTURES tournaments. Specifically, Moeve and Liga F have jointly created Liga Futura Moeve, a new youth competition aimed at promoting grassroots women’s football and fostering the development of young female players from an early age.
José María Solana, Moeve’s Global Brand Director, stated, “This second season allows us to continue Moeve’s commitment to women’s football and keep supporting the growth of Liga F Moeve, following a first full year whose results reflect the competition’s increasing momentum. We are convinced that its evolution must be built on combined efforts and a long-term vision, which is why we have created Liga Futura Moeve together, to promote football from the ground up. We will continue working together to help women’s football reach new heights nationally and internationally.”
Moeve’s first full year as title sponsor closed with notable growth in broadcast and digital metrics. The competition increased its viewership by 11.2%, reaching a cumulative audience of 7.5 million. On digital channels, Liga F surpassed 1.14 million followers, the competition’s website saw a 24.7% increase in page views, and its unique user count nearly doubled. Additionally, 71 matches were held in major stadiums: 30% more than the previous season.
The competition’s growth will also be reflected in the inclusion of Liga F Moeve matches in La Quiniela (the iconic Spanish football pools) starting in the 2026/27 season, a new milestone that reinforces its visibility and recognition within one of the country’s most emblematic football institutions.
Beatriz Álvarez, president of Liga F, noted, “The data from last season reflect the positive evolution of a competition that is generating increasing interest and greater social and audiovisual impact. Having Moeve as our title sponsor allows us to continue developing a strategic alliance with the shared vision of advancing women's football from the elite level all the way down to the grassroots. Liga Futura Moeve is a clear example of that joint commitment to creating opportunities, role models, and new spaces for the girls who will be the future of our sport.”
The partnership between Moeve, Liga F, and LALIGA is built around the tagline “The world is our playing field; the future is better when we all play” and brings to the sporting arena a shared vision based on teamwork, diversity, inclusion, and the spirit of overcoming challenges. This vision also serves the common goal of expanding the presence and visibility of female role models in sport.
Liga F Moeve will once again feature 16 teams this season, contesting a total of 240 matches through the final matchday scheduled for the weekend of May 22–23, 2027. The calendar will include two midweek fixtures and four FIFA international breaks, with eyes on the Women’s World Cup to be held in Brazil next summer.
