Promoting sustainable mobility in Spain and Portugal

We are moving forward in accelerating the energy transition, promoting the decarbonization of transport and encouraging sustainable mobility, because we want to be a major player in electric charging.

We are rolling out one of the largest ultra-fast charging networks at service stations in Spain and Portugal. We have 260 fully accessible ultra-fast electric charging stations in operation, with at least another 400 built and awaiting authorization. Our ultra-fast electric charging network (150kW or more) allows 80% of an electric vehicle's battery to be recharged in just 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the vehicle model.

Developing an extensive electric mobility ecosystem

At Moeve, we want to accelerate the energy transition, promoting the decarbonization of transport and encouraging sustainable mobility, because we want to be a major player in electric charging. Of the more than 120 Moeve ultra-fast charging stations, 70% are located in Spain and 30% in Portugal.

We designed our electric charging network with the future in mind, installing chargers with technology that allows for power outputs of up to 300kW and 400kW, close to the customers who demand it. We are adapting our network and supply. The rollout includes points connecting the main corridors and interurban roads of the Iberian Peninsula, which are five of its main arteries: the Mediterranean Corridor, the Ruta de la Plata, the route linking Portugal and France, the main motorways in Portugal, and the Spanish arteries.

Interoperability and partnerships in Europe

Thanks to partnerships with other operators, our customers have access to more than 7,500 charging points in Spain. Users can safely use all Moeve charging stations publicly and free of charge, and through any payment method. These include the Moeve gow app, which also provides access to 7,500 additional charging stations in Spain, as well as the RFID card, which allows customers to identify themselves quickly and securely without the need for another device or payment method.

Focusing on renewable fuels

As established by Spanish regulations, at Moeve we incorporate 11.5% of biofuels in the set of fuels we supply in Spain, with the aim of promoting the reduction of CO₂ emissions. In addition, we market HVO100 renewable diesel for professional customers at our service stations.

Driving demand for green hydrogen in road transport

Our goal is to have a refueling station every 300km by 2030, in corridors connecting Spain with Europe.
