The LALIGA GENUINE Moeve calendar arrives in the province of Cádiz to kick off Phase 2 of the 2025/26 season, with Moeve supporting the event as both main sponsor and title sponsor of the competition, which is made up of players with intellectual disabilities. Throughout the weekend of Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, a total of 26 seven-a-side football matches will be played at the Ciudad Deportiva Bahía de Cádiz.
As the host club, Cádiz CF welcomes some of the teams competing in LALIGA GENUINE Moeve, marking the first half of Phase 2 of the competition. In total, 26 teams from 19 Spanish provinces will win positions in the standings across the two matches each team will play. Over the course of the weekend, more than 20 Moeve volunteers, company professionals, will be supporting the players to help ensure the event’s success. Phase 2 of the competition will conclude on March 7 and 8 at the Escuela de Fútbol de Mareo in Gijón, where the 24 teams not participating in Cádiz will play.
LALIGA GENUINE Moeve is celebrating its eighth season, with Moeve serving as title sponsor for the first time from start to finish and continuing to promote the founding values of the competition, which emphasize sharing over competing. For this reason, the 50 teams that make up the tournament play across four phases throughout the year, earning points in two separate standings: a sporting classification and a Fair Play ranking.
“We feel pride and happiness that LALIGA GENUINE Moeve holds its next official matches in Cádiz, in Andalusia, a region so closely linked to our activity. As main sponsors and an active part of this region, we are able to offer even greater support to the players, their families, and the organization, reaffirming that diversity, inclusion, and collaboration, which define this championship, are social drivers capable of transforming the future.”
Almudena Aguado, head of Culture at Moeve.
Olga de la Fuente, Director of the LALIGA FOUNDATION, emphasized that, “LALIGA GENUINE Moeve is much more than a sporting competition. It is a space where respect, fair play, and personal growth are fostered, values that define our commitment to football and to society. We are especially grateful for the involvement of Moeve and Cádiz CF in making it possible for this phase to be held in Cádiz and for helping ensure that the players continue to be the true protagonists.”
The sponsorship of LALIGA GENUINE Moeve forms part of the alliance between the energy company and LALIGA and Liga F, under which Moeve has become the first sponsor of all their competitions, including LALIGA EA SPORTS, Liga F Moeve, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, and the FC FUTURES tournaments. Through this agreement, the organizations aim to promote key social values such as teamwork, inclusion, diversity, and the spirit of overcoming challenges, united by the shared slogan: “The world is our playing field. The future will be better if we all play.”
