Engine replacement in H-P3 A/B pumps. Thanks to more efficient engines in the pumps we have achieved important energy savings in the Unifining unit of the paraffins plant at Cepsa’s Puente Mayorga chemicals plant.

The project is presented with the objective of obtaining improvements in the manufacturing process from the point of view of reduction of natural gas and electricity consumption, as well as improvements in the recovery of kerosene through the implementation of continuous analysis of different process streams. Continuous monitoring of these currents will also reduce the number of analyses in the laboratory and allow a faster response from the people who control the operation at the Puente Mayorga plant.

We installed a new amine absorber at our San Roque refinery and reduced atmospheric sulfur dioxide (SO₂) emissions.

Instalation of twisted tubes tecnology on H-E-1 J/E/D/H/F/G. With the changes applied in this project, we managed to improve producing efficiency by reducing the fuel used and the emissions of polluting gases into the atmosphere.

With the construction of two new heat exchangers, the Cepsa Chemical Plant in Palos has managed to reduce the steam consumption required for phenol production by harnessing the eat discharged in the cooling tower during cumene production. Additionally, the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere has been reduced.

HDA-1 Unit modification for Solvents production. With the modification we have done, we are able to produce Solvents in the Paraffin Hidrodearomatization Unit while reducing energy consumption.

Elimination of column E-5105 in line 2 fractionation project. We have modified our production process to manufacture phenol and acetone, with the goal of saving energy.
