The project is presented with the objective of obtaining improvements in the manufacturing process from the point of view of reduction of natural gas and electricity consumption, as well as improvements in the recovery of kerosene through the implementation of continuous analysis of different process streams. Continuous monitoring of these currents will also reduce the number of analyses in the laboratory and allow a faster response from the people who control the operation.
On-line analysis of our process streams is providing valuable information for the energy optimization of our units. Control over the process and product quality is being reinforced, and although we continue to place greater confidence in laboratory analytical results, they serve as a reference and alert us of any possible deviation. In the near future, continuous monitoring of these streams will allow a reduction in the number of analyses in the laboratory (minimizing the volume of waste generated) and a greater speed of response by the people who control the operation.
We are also increasing the amount of data extracted from the process, which will soon allow the creation of inferentials and virtual analyzers at other points in the process as well as the implementation of YET-type projects in the units.
