Moeve has concluded this edition of its energy sector educational program, Energy Campus. Designed by Andalusian teachers to familiarize students and teachers from the 2nd cycle of compulsory secondary education, Baccalaureate, and Training Modules with the world of energy, safety, sustainability, and the ecological transition in a streamlined and enjoyable way, this program mixes digital and in-person learning. This year, a total of 2,040 students from the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga and 140 teachers from 53 schools visited the facilities at the San Roque Energy Park.
The initiative consists of a series of lessons and exercises on the Energy Campus website that are carried out in the classroom under the guidance of a teacher, as well as a visit to the San Roque Energy Park. In this edition of Energy Campus, these sessions on energy sector industrial facilities finished with IES Torre Almenara de Estepona (Malaga).
Moeve's educational program aims to show students how energy has evolved throughout the history of humankind and connect them with Moeve's value chain. The company teaches participants about the impact of crude oil and its derivatives and how we use them in our daily life, as well as its commitment to the energy transition through the 2030 Positive Motion Strategy. This undertaking is associated with and investment of up to 8 billion euros to become a leader in sustainable mobility, green hydrogen, and advanced biofuels in Spain and Portugal, putting customers at the center of its activity and helping them to decarbonize.
Moeve’s commitment and responsibility to the populations of the areas it's located in is also addressed in this program, in addition to the safety of people, facilities, and nearby population centers, as well as its continuous efforts to protect and reduce its footprint on the environment.
The Energy Campus also addresses Moeve's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN), and has a special chapter dedicated to the company's responsibility to its professionals, work-life balance, and diversity and inclusion.

“The value of these initiatives lies in the education and training that they provide. These programs help students supplement their education and learn more about current and future energy sources, as well as the importance of conserving wetlands. But these awards also highlight the excellent work of students who have gone the extra mile to get involved in and learn through these programs."”.
Estrella Blanco, head of Corporate Affairs.
