- Around 1,200 professionals from auxiliary companies took part in this shutdown at the industrial center, which lasted more than a month
Moeve has successfully completed the shutdown of the San Roque Energy Park, which involved a total investment of 13 million euros to carry out maintenance tasks and acquire new equipment over a period of 35 days.
Moeve’s own team and approximately 1,200 professionals from over 44 auxiliary companies—mostly from the Campo de Gibraltar region, though some came from other parts of Spain and abroad—worked together efficiently and collaboratively to carry out the projects. The shutdown occurred amid challenging conditions, as the province of Cádiz experienced severe weather emergencies in January and February. Despite those conditions, the project teams maintained the required safety standards.
"This shutdown has improved the efficiency of our San Roque Energy Park facilities while demonstrating the sustainability of our operations. Coordinating beforehand with the auxiliary companies, combined with rigorous monitoring of daily tasks, were essential to ensuring the safety of people, facilities, and the surrounding environment.”
Rosendo Rivero, Director of the San Roque Energy Park
In addition to regulatory inspections and several energy efficiency improvement projects, the team took on several major tasks, including replacing catalysts, repairing critical equipment, cleaning operations, and enhancing the production performance of several units. A total of more than 390 pieces of equipment were serviced in the industrial center.
Exhaustive planning
Moeve regularly schedules shutdowns of its units to perform intensive maintenance work and inspections. These shutdowns allow the company to ensure the safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of its industrial assets.
