- The Energy Campus educational program reaches more than 3,600 students
- The visits are part of Moeve's commitment to transparency and social responsibility
Moeve closed out 2025 with more than 6,000 visitors at its Andalusian facilities, located in San Roque (Cadiz) and Palos de la Frontera (Huelva). Throughout the year, the energy parks received a total of 2,738 visits in San Roque and 3,339 visits in Palos as part of the company's various open-door programs.
Through these initiatives, Moeve reinforces its transparency policy and its commitment to the environment, helping citizens to understand the energy sector, the ecological transition, and its Positive Motion 2030 roadmap. The visits also allow for the dissemination of prevention, protection, and conservation actions regarding biodiversity developed by the company. In this context, Moeve is advancing in its transformation towards becoming a benchmark in the energy transition, playing a prominent role in sustainable mobility in Spain and Portugal, as well as in the production of green hydrogen and second-generation advanced biofuels, which are key for its own decarbonization and that of its customers.
Within the Energy Campus program, 1,894 students participated in visits to the San Roque Energy Park, while 1,757 students did so at the industrial facilities in Huelva. During the activities, students were able to learn firsthand how energy is produced, its application in daily life, and the future challenges of the sector, as well as good practices in efficiency, environment, and safety. A total of 3,651 high school, baccalaureate, and vocational training students broadened their understanding of Moeve's role as an internationally relevant energy player in Andalusia.
The company also highlights the activities organized to mark World Wetlands Day. During the month of February, 326 elementary school children from Campo de Gibraltar visited the Madrevieja Environmental Station, while 587 students from Huelva participated in educational workshops at Laguna Primera de Palos, focused on environmental awareness and ecosystem conservation.
The Moeve general visits program is aimed at associations, institutions, universities, and citizens interested in learning about the operation of an energy park, and its processes and products, as well as the company's energy transition project and its commitment to safety, the environment, and social action. As a complementary activity, visits to San Roque include tours of the Carteia archaeological site and the Madrevieja Environmental Station, while in Huelva, a visit to the Laguna Primera de Palos is offered.
