Green hydrogen
Green hydrogen is a new form of energy that helps accelerate the decarbonization of sectors that are difficult to electrify, such as industry and air, maritime, and road transport.
It is produced from water and renewable electricity through a process called electrolysis, which separates water into oxygen and hydrogen to generate energy.
At Moeve, we're developing the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley, the largest green hydrogen project in Europe. It will generate clean energy capable of replacing the equivalent of 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas—enough to meet the annual energy needs of approximately 1.5 million households.
A more sustainable source of energy that brings us closer to a future with greater energy independence in Europe.
Second-generation biofuels
Second-generation biofuels are produced from used oils and organic waste, giving new life to materials that already exist. They are a more sustainable alternative that can reduce emissions by up to 90% over their life cycle compared with fossil fuels.
At Moeve, we're building the largest second-generation biofuels complex in Southern Europe, advancing solutions such as:
- SAF, a sustainable aviation fuel already available at Spain's main airports.
- HVO100 renewable diesel for road transport, already supplied to professional customers.
- Maritime biofuels for ferries and cruise ships, now available at various ports.
Ultra-fast electric charging
We operate one of the largest ultra-fast EV charging networks across Spain and Portugal, helping make mobility more environmentally friendly. With more than 320 high-power charging points already in operation, drivers can recharge up to 80% of an electric vehicle’s battery in just 10 to 20 minutes, making electric travel easier and more convenient than ever.
