Mr. Robert Murphy

Robert Murphy is an Executive Director within Mubadala’s Private Equity platform, where he focuses on strategic investments in Energy & Sustainability.

Since joining Mubadala in 2011, Robert worked as part of a central M&A function leading transaction execution for acquisitions and divestments across energy, infrastructure, industrials and services.

Post 2020, he has been actively involved in the investment management of several of Mubadala’s significant portfolio companies including OMV, Borealis, NOVA and Moeve.

In addition to his role at Moeve, Robert serves as a Director on the Board of CoolIT Systems, a leader in AI and high-performance computing liquid cooling systems.

Robert holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Nottingham. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
