- The Global Renewables Alliance brings together a coalition of more than 20 corporate partners representing the leading renewable technologies
- As a coalition partner, Moeve will help accelerate the renewable energy transition and support the global target of tripling renewables by 2030
Moeve, a global energy company, has officially joined the Global Renewables Alliance (GRA), a coalition of more than 20 corporate partners from around the world committed to scaling up renewable energy and achieving the global target of tripling renewables by 2030. This milestone reflects Moeve’s mission to scale clean energy solutions and contribute to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
As a member of the alliance, Moeve will actively contribute to major global events such as New York Climate Week and COP30 in Brazil, while supporting policy development, sharing industry insights, and mobilizing green solutions. The alliance calls on global leaders to align policy, finance, and industry action through bold initiatives. Key priorities include strengthening renewable targets, grid and storage planning, mobilized finance for emerging economies, and support for green industrial development. Both New York Climate Week and COP30 must serve as turning points—driving a just energy transition that enhances resilience, competitiveness, and opportunity for all.
Bruce Douglas, CEO of the Global Renewables Alliance, said: “Our COP30 coalition partners are not just supporting GRA’s mission—they are amplifying the private sector’s voice, investing in renewable energy and driving real change in the energy transition. By uniting these world-leading suppliers, buyers, advisors and investors, we can accelerate policy action and unlock the full potential of renewable energy worldwide.”
Carmen de Pablo, CFO of Moeve, said: “Joining the Global Renewables Alliance reflects Moeve’s commitment to accelerating the creation of a resilient, sustainable energy system that requires not only renewable electrons but also green molecules to decarbonize sectors where electrification alone isn’t enough. Through projects like the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley that we are developing in southern Spain, Moeve is helping establish the foundation for a cleaner, more secure energy future.”
Established in 2022, the GRA unites global industry associations representing key renewable technologies—including wind, solar, hydropower, geothermal, green hydrogen, and long-duration energy storage. Together, its members amplify the private sector’s voice in energy policy and advocate for urgent action to meet the #3xRenewables target.
