The 28th edition of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), celebrated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been a step forward in advancing towards energy transition after achieving a historic consensus from its nearly 200 participating countries, as well as the adoption of measures in order to achieve carbon neutrality, or net zero, by 2050.
In this video, we explore conclusions and challenges of this meeting, which certainly confirms the willingness of all parties to accelerate low or zero emissions technologies, as well as the commitment of tripling renewable energies and the use of biofuels and green hydrogen to move forward in terms of decarbonization.
