- The company will offer tours on May 2, 3, 9, 10, 23 and 24 with a total of 600 spots
- The open houses are part of Moeve's commitment to its community and its responsibility for transparency with the public
Director of the San Roque Energy Park Rosendo Rivero stated “we are delighted to once again open the doors of the San Roque Energy Park and show society the work we do at Moeve. Simultaneously, an interesting dialogue with visitors is created at each visit, which helps us find out their worries and answer their questions."
During the open houses, which last approximately three and a half hours, visitors will receive a welcome talk, visit the industrial facilities, and take a walk through the Madrevieja Environmental Station, an example of biodiversity and ecosystem conservation promoted and developed first by Moeve and now by the Moeve Foundation, with the collaboration of the City of San Roque.
Attendees at the Open Houses will also witness the safety, environmental protection, energy efficiency, innovation and quality standards that govern all of Moeve's activities.
Children under 14 years of age will not be allowed to visit the inside of the plant, so they will remain at the Training Center under the supervision of specialized monitors, who will play games and put on entertaining activities for them, and later they will join the rest of the visit.
This initiative, which has been in place since 2006 and in which over 5,600 people have taken part so far, is in addition to the various institutional, educational, associational, and technical visits Moeve hosts annually in order to show itself to the outside world and promote closer ties with the community.
Those interested in participating in the Open Houses can register at Open Houses: Visit San Roque Park.
The company will run buses for visitors in order to facilitate journeys from towns in the region.
